This gorgeous Victorian Albert chain is in a classic Victorian 9ct yellow gold; it may look very much like rose gold and that is because it is very similar, only slightly more yellow. Victorian yellow gold had a high copper content, from an era before the term rose gold was coined.
Each link is individually stamped with the fineness of the gold as was typical in the Victorian era. As well as having a hallmark dating to 1875.
